Psychaotic.

Just the title alone evokes those middle of the night, everything spinning out of control, terrified emotions we’ve all felt. Some nights, you lay awake, worried about the day you had, the days upcoming, the things you said and the things you couldn’t say. “Psychaotic” puts those same emotions onto paper, laying them all out in ways you couldn’t otherwise articulate, until you find yourself reading along, eyes wide, nodding in agreement, “YES! I know what you mean!”

“Lost Sleep” was a favorite of mine, having experienced that same feeling, trying to stay awake to stave off a dream. The pain, folded neatly into these pages, is familiar, relate-able, and very well written.
