I climb so many walls
To run away from being closer
I cannot bear the pain
Of waiting or rejection
I grow weary of the love
That lasts for a night
When it should be there
The next sunrise
It’s a simple feeling
Just a complex maze
I cannot bear the thought
Of losing my pride
So when you leave
My thoughts to wander
My eyes lose track of you
And then I betray you
Without feeling guilty
